In addition, all employees of Seven Seas International are trained annually. We maintain our professional competence and product knowledge at a high level through internal guidance and external professional training.

MSC

The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) quality mark is on fish products that come from sustainable fisheries. Sustainable fishing involves sustainable management of fish stocks and minimal damage to marine life.

MSC Seven Seas

ASC

ASC is a quality mark for farmed fish, crustaceans and shellfish. The label is managed by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council. The label includes rules for less and better regulated antibiotic use, more sustainable fish feed (more plant-based instead of wild fish), protecting local biodiversity and ecosystems, energy use, greenhouse gases, waste management and use of chemicals.

IFS

The International Featured Standards Food, often referred to as IFS Food for short, is a food safety standard that was drawn up by HDE, the German trade association for food distributors. The standard is also referred to as International Featured Standard - Food. The French retail trade association FCD has joined the IFS standard, while the Italian organizations ANCC, ANCD and Federdistribuzione also support the standard. This, plus the fact that the IFS standard was developed on the basis of the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety, leads to the standard being referred to as the German-French counterpart of BRC Food.
